"Red" marks the first single release from the debut LP "Champagne", which is going to be released on the 7th of October by the young indie-label "Kleio Records", based in Vienna. With their single "Red" Gospel Dating Service represent one of the central problems of their generation: Feeling constantly exposed and judged by everyone including oneself.
An uncertain future [I wonder how, how it might be?], as well as the self-imposed pressure to succeed [a fairytale security], these are the themes that inspired the songwriting.
Is dreaming still allowed despite the fear of falling? Are we ever satisfied or is it never good enough?
